How to Stake

Steps

1. Navigate to the Staking page
2. Enter the amount of $ATLAS tokens to stake (minimum: 1 ATLAS)
3. Click Stake
4. Sign the transaction in your wallet
5. Your stake is now Pending — wait for the maturation period to start earning

The public testnet currently uses a shortened maturation period for testing. Mainnet Cardano epochs are about 5 days.

What Happens

When you stake:

1. Your $ATLAS tokens are locked in the staking smart contract
2. Your stake position is created on-chain, recording your staked amount and the current epoch

After Staking

Your stake starts in Pending state. After the maturation period passes, it becomes Active and starts earning rewards.

You can check your staking status on the Staking page.

Multiple Stakes

You can have multiple active stakes. Each stake has its own maturation timeline. This means:

• You can stake additional $ATLAS at any time
• Each stake matures independently
• Rewards accumulate per stake position
