Withdrawing from the Vault

Burn your LP tokens to reclaim your share of the Vault's liquidity plus any accumulated fees.

Steps​

  1. Navigate to the Vaults page
  2. Enter the amount of LP tokens to burn (or click Max)
  3. Click Withdraw
  4. Sign the transaction in your wallet

What You Receive​

withdrawal_amount = lp_tokens_burned × total_liquidity / total_lp_tokens

If the Vault has earned fees since your deposit, each LP token is worth more than when you deposited — your withdrawal will be larger than your original deposit.

Example​

You hold 90 LP tokens. The Vault now has:

  • Total liquidity: $1,100 (grew from $1,000 due to fees)
  • total LP tokens: 990

Your withdrawal:

amount = 90 × 1100 / 990 = $100

You originally deposited $100 and received 90 LP tokens. Now those 90 tokens are worth $100 — your LP token price is $1.11 per token. If the pool grew more, you'd receive more.

Withdrawal Constraints​

If most of the Vault's liquidity is reserved (backing open positions), you may not be able to withdraw your full amount. The available liquidity for withdrawals is:

available = total liquidity - reserved liquidity

Large withdrawals may need to wait until positions close and liquidity is freed up.
